An exciting, natural playground for outdoor activities, school tours, team building, education and exploration!
Hello and welcome to Kippure Estate, an outdoor adventure activity and education centre in the heart of County Wicklow. Established in 2003, we continue to lead the way in providing Ireland’s highest quality educational school tours (for primary to second level students emphasising science, geography, maths, ecology and Leaving Certificate curricula) as well as exciting outdoor activities and team building days for both children and adults.
Children become intimately connected with nature when they visit our adventure activity centre. Their eyes (and curiosity) light up when they’re guided through the woods, the meadows and alongside the River Liffey with the Wicklow Mountains in plain sight. They discover and learn through fun and adventure, whether on a primary science school tour or attending a family day. Our creative programmes, like Pirate Training and Celtic Warrior Training, are always enjoyed by the kids!
Older students are also in good hands! Whether they need to complete an ecological study for their Leaving Cert Geography exam or need to bond together as a youth group, our friendly and professional instructors have the knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to create an outdoor adventure day they will never forget!
And as you go through our website, you’ll learn why our team building activities are so much fun! Kippure Estate has High and Low Ropes courses, Orienteering, Treasure Hunts, Climbing, Abseiling, Bushcraft Survival Skill Challenges…even a ‘Leap of Faith’! All together they make for a very exciting and educational or team development day for all abilities—a must for school tours, youth field trips, school trips and corporate events.
Over 6500 children (and hundreds of adults) experience the benefits of learning outside the classroom, or being one with nature, with us every year. So why not join them and choose Kippure Estate Outdoor Adventure Activity and Education Centre for your next school trip or teambuilding event?
